Hi, I'm Toku. I founded Unexecutive coaching after a successful career in the entertainment industry and after studying at a Zen Monastery for 2.5 years.
My name Toku is short for Gentoku which means manifesting virtue or present sincerity. My coaching is unlike most of the executive or founder coaching you'll find in the world because who I am and how I approach coaching is different.
When I worked in the music business I saw how the attention, pressure, and need to perform impacted artists and musicians and I began working with founders because I saw many of them struggling with the same issues.
In order to be an effective leader you need to have a solid foundation you come from every day. I help leaders find that solid foundation and bring it into their work so they can continue being innovative, brilliant, and effective while also working with a team whose skills and ways of thinking are very different from their own.
I've worked with hundreds of leaders in various industries and while the applications are different the foundations of depth, clarity, courage, and creativity were important for each and every one of them.
